Throughout the history of the Théâtre du Peuple, women have played a key role in its development. One woman in particular appears frequently, under various names: Camille de Saint-Maurice, Georgette Camée, Camille Pottecher, Tante Cam… many names, but little information…

To mark the 2025 Journées du Matrimoine, Alix Fournier-Pittaluga and Sandrine Pirès, with the help of Julie Delille, set out to investigate: what remains of Tante Cam, and what do we know about her? Who was she? A carte blanche brimming with stories and exchanges, which we are delighted to revisit in 2026.
