Household waste collection

Our Community of Communes operates a pay-as-you-throw waste collection scheme to encourage waste sorting and, consequently, recycling.
For holiday rentals, the owners provide either a bin or ‘orange’ bin bags. Bins or bin bags must be securely closed, taken out and placed at the kerb, clearly visible to the refuse collection staff. They must be out by 6am on collection day at the latest. 

Waste is collected: 

• on Mondays   in Ferdrupt and Rupt-sur-Moselle
• on Tuesdays   in  Ramonchamp and Le Thillot
• on Thursdays in Bussang and Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle
• on Fridays in Fresse-sur-Moselle and Le Ménil. 

The renter is required to inform tenants of the sorting guidelines and the collection arrangements for different types of waste.
