From Bussang

Sentier des chèvres : 6 km - 2h – height difference +193 m - easy level - yellow ring markings
Departure from the Théâtre du Peuple car park. Turn right on the Champs Colnot road. Follow the "sentiers des Chèvres" yellow ring markings all along the trail.
You will have a view of the Ballon de Servance, La Bouloie and the village of St Maurice sur Moselle. Pass by the Auberge des Fontaine and its animal park, and finally in front of a mission cross and the oak of Pentecost, before continuing on the same road to reach your starting point. Le Drumont: 14.8 km - 4h45 - height difference + 835 m - sports level
Markings: blue rectangle - red disc - red triangle - blue disc - yellow triangle
Departure from the Source de la Moselle car park. Go to the Col de Bussang by following the national road on the left. Follow the path of the Russiers GR531 (blue rectangle) until Le Drumont. At the top, direction the Hasenkopf and direction Faigne des Minons on the GR. go to the Chalet du Pont Martin (red disc). Direction Chalet du Plain Repos (red triangle). Chalet de la Petite Montagne (blue disc). At the crossing of the Charat, continue towards the Fontaine Louis (yellow triangle) until the road of Drumont. Follow the road leading to the car park by passing in front of the Jean pond or turn left by following the blue disc. At the crossing of Taye, take the road that goes up and passes by the Source Marie and the ponds of the Sources to reach the car park.
From Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle:

In the Vosges forest: 2.5 km - 1h - height difference +132 m - easy level - green rectangle markings
Departure at the end of the rue du Tertre. Follow the dirt road on the left (green rectangle) to the platform. Take the path going up on the left. At the bench, take the path going down (green rectangle). Sight post. Continue the descent. Go down the wooden steps. Go up the wooden steps on the right. At the big rock on your left, go down and continue on the path in front of you. Go up to the platform on the right. Continue on the right. At the clearing, continue to the wide path and go to the right. Follow the same path to go back. (family walk sheet n° 18) available at the office.
Sun King and ponds of the Neufs-Bois: 13 km - 4h - height difference +450 m - medium level+
Markings: blue rectangle - yellow disc - red triangle - yellow ring - red ring - yellow ring - yellow ring - blue rectangle - blue white blue
Departure at the car park of the Rouge Gazon hotel-restaurant. Go down the road you came from. Take the GR531 on the right (blue rectangle). You will see the 3 ponds. At the crossing, follow the markings (yellow ring), direction Chaume des Neufs-Bois. Keep going straight ahead until you reach the bifurcation with the red triangle on the left (about 1.3km). At the next crossing, turn right (yellow ring) towards the Sun King. Go down the Sybille path (yellow ring). After about 1 km, go up on your left (red ring and yellow ring). Stay on this path for about 1.8km. Turn left (yellow ring) for 2km to reach the fountain of the Magi. Continue on the same path for 400 m and turn right (blue-white-blue rectangle) to the ponds of the Neuf-Bois. Turn right to reach the car park.
From the Ballon d’Alsace:

Hike of the Ballon: 6 km - 2h – height difference +140 m - easy level
Markings: yellow disc - red rectangle (GR) - blue ring - red disc
Departure from the parking lot of the Maison du Tourisme. Head towards the forest at the back of the "Projected Man" monument following the central path (red rectangle and yellow disc). Enter the forest. At the intersection, turn right onto "Chemin Colas" (blue ring). Stay on the same path until you reach the route du Ballon. Follow the path that goes up on the right (blue ring "la Jumenterie"). Enter the cow pen and cross the field. Follow the road to the building in front of you. Cross the road. Pass in front of the "Jumenterie" building. Follow it on the right (red disc), direction "Sommet du Ballon". Viewpoint hike: 10.2 km - 4h - height difference +485 m - sports level
Markings: red rectangle (GR) - blue disc - blue triangle - blue diagonal cross - red triangle - yellow triangle - red triangle
Departure from the deminers' car park. Cross the road and climb the open path towards the summit. Statue of Joan of Arc. Orientation table. Statue of the Virgin. Go down to the Inn. Go down on the tatch following the GR (red rectangle). You are in the downhill ski area. At La Chaumière, cross the road and follow the steep slope (blue disc) to the pond of Le Petit-Haut. Walk along the dike and turn left (blue triangle) onto the Rummel belvedere and the waterfalls. Turn right (blue diagonal cross) to the Étang des Roseaux. Follow the same path to the Grande Goutte refuge. From there, go up (red triangle). At the intersection, turn left (yellow triangle). At the crossroads, turn right (red triangle) to your starting point.

From Fresse-sur-Moselle

Étang du Frac: 6.4 km - 2h30 - height difference + 130 m - easy level - markings: red ring
Departure from the town hall in Fresse. Go down to the national road and cross it (red ring). Cross the bridge and the Voie Verte (cycling route). Follow the markings and take the path that runs along the "Champs Vaudez". Go towards the Étang du Frac. arrive at the chalet of the pond. Take advantage of this to walk around the pond. Once you arrive on the side of the road, turn right (red ring) towards "Notre Dame du Lac". After the steeply sloping path, you can go up to see the virgin in the small niche in front of you. Otherwise, take the path on the right, towards the Col du Couard (red ring). At the Col, take the path that goes down on the left, towards the Croix du Couard. Stay on this path until you reach the village. At the crossing, turn right. You reach the place where you crossed the Voie Verte and the bridge that brings you back to your starting point.
Chapelle des Vés: 9.7 km - 3h15 - height difference + 250 m - medium level - markings: blue ring
Departure from the Town Hall in Fresse. Go up behind the church and follow the markings (blue ring). At the end of the road, take the path that goes up. At the intersection, turn right towards Pré Charbon (blue ring). Continue in the same direction until you reach the Chapelle des Vés. Go and see the Chapelle and come back. Go straight ahead through the Draimont towards the Pic des Corbeaux (blue ring). Go down to the refuge. At the crossroads:
- either turn right towards "la Revauche" until you reach the Col de Foigneux. At the Col, turn left towards Fresse (blue ring). Continue straight ahead and you will arrive at the church.
- or continue straight ahead in the direction of "Béhayon". At the intersection, take the path that goes down to the left which you climbed.
From Le Ménil:

Le Ménil - Le Hallaire: 3.7 km - 1h15 – height difference + 130 m - easy level - markings: red ring
Departure in front of the bakery. Turn left, rue des Reucy. At the locality called Les Reucy, take the path which goes up on the left. At the end of the path, take the 2nd path on the left , which leads to the road. Take the path of Hallaire on the left. Follow the path until you arrive on the rue des Croisettes. Turn left. You arrive on the Grand-rue. Turn left to return to your starting point.
Tête des Champs - Les Chapelles: 11.6 km - 4h30 – height difference + 446 m - medium level + - markings: red cross - blue diagonal cross
Departure from the Pont Charreau. Follow the direction of Rochelotte (red cross) until the crossroads "Le Piénot de la Rouauche". Continue in the same direction until you reach the place called Xerbanage. Always follow the same markings until you reach the sign indicating the “Ferme du Frenat du Haut". Go in the direction of the farm until you arrive at the Passe du Secheneux. Take the path going up towards the Tête des Champs (blue diagonal cross). You will find the Orientation Table at the top. Go down towards the Chapelle de la Salette (blue diagonal cross). You will arrive at a place called La Besse. Take the path in front of you, towards the Chapelle de Pitié (blue diagonal cross). Always follow the same markings when passing near the Beauvédé climbing rock and you arrive at the chapel. Continue along the arboretum and the fitness trail towards Pont Châly. After the descent in hairpin bends, you arrive on the road. Cross it and continue going down. You arrive at the place called Pont Châly. Continue on the road until you reach your starting point.
From Ramonchamp:

The path of the ponds from the Étang noir: 5 km - 1h40 – height difference + 54 m - easy level - markings: blue ring
Departure from the Étang Noir car park. Follow the direction "Sentier des Etangs", blue ring marking. The path passes near a belvedere protected by wooden fences and then follows the Etang Noir before crossing the departmental road 57 twice. Then, it goes back into the forest and allows you to admire, among others, the Noirs Étang, the Étang de la Chaussée Pingant or the Étang de la Peau.
After this last pond, the path reaches the asphalt road which must be followed on the right to reach the starting point of the hike.
Le Grammont - the ponds : 7 km - 2h20 – height difference + 100 m - easy level + - markings : blue ring - yellow triangle
Departure from the Grammont inn. Go up by the forest road following the direction of the Étang Noir (blue ring). Go through the belvedere. At the pond, continue straight ahead through the Étangs Noirs, the Étang de la Peau and the Étang la Planche (blue ring). After this last pond, follow the GR 5F path towards Pré Martin (yellow triangle). Then turn left staying on the GR 5F and GR7 (blue ring) until you reach the starting point.
From Ferdrupt:

Ferdrupt - La Rochaule: 7.1 km - 2 h - height difference + 309 m - medium level - markings: blue ring
Departure from the Town Hall. Follow the Ferdrupt stream up the road (blue ring). Continue straight ahead. You will pass in front of an isolated farmhouse. At the crossroads, turn left (blue ring). At the next crossroads, keep left and shortly after take the path on your right (blue ring). Follow this direction until you arrive on a small road. Stay on the path that goes left (blue ring). Continue straight ahead. You will arrive on a small road. Follow it (blue ring) and to go back into the village and your starting point.
Ferdrupt - The 3 Chalets: 11.8 km - 3h30 - height difference + 576 m - sports level - markings: yellow disc
Departure from the Town Hall. Take the André Duval road (yellow disc), then the Grébiay road up to the crossing with the Chemin des Briseux. Go right then left on the Château d'Eau road. Continue on this road and take the path on the left between the house and the shed (yellow disc). You will pass successively by the Grébiay chalet, the Col de la Sûre, and near the Chalet de l'Hômant. Keep following the same markings towards the Chalet du Châtelet. Continue downhill in front of the farmhouse. You will arrive at the crossing where you started the hike. Take the same route back to your starting point.
From Rupt-sur-Moselle:

Rupt - Mariotte: 6.4 km - 2h15 – height difference + 368 m - medium level - markings: green ring
Departure at the foot of the church. Go down a little and take the rue de l'Ascensement to the left. At the crossing, take the rue Dermanville to the left (green ring). Continue straight ahead until you reach the small roundabout. Cross the latter and continue on the rue des Boulés until you reach the small lake. Take the rue des Roches (green ring) and go straight ahead until you reach the village exit sign. Turn left towards the cemetery. At the end of the road, take the path in front of you and go up towards "La Mariotte" (green ring). At the next fork, take the path that goes to the left and continue until you arrive on a small road towards the Vierge du Trésor (green ring). In the hairpin bend, a path goes straight ahead. take it and pass near the reservoir. Once you arrive at the Virgin, just above the village, take the path that goes up on the right (green ring). Stay on this path until you reach a road. Take the road to go down. At the first crossroads, turn right and you will arrive at the church.
Rupt - les Chalets: 14.7 km - 4h15 – height difference + 636 m - sports level - markings: green ring
Departure from Place Albert Montémont. Take the rue Forel to the roundabout of the Cross. Turn right, rue Louis Wittmann. After about 100 m, turn left on the small path between the transformer and the house. Follow this path (green ring) which passes through a pasture (remember to close the barriers properly). When you reach the road, turn right and then immediately left. This path will lead you to the Chalet de la Charmotte. At the site of La Roche Jaugeon, always follow the path (green ring). You will arrive at the Chalet des Haneaux and then at the chalet de la Vrille. From there, go in the direction of the Chalet des Fraiteux (100 m detour if you want to see the chalet). Continue to go down while always staying on the same path (green ring) to reach the village and your starting point.
From Le Thillot

The pond of Chaillon from the church: 2.50 km – 1 h – height difference + 112 m - easy - markings: red disc
Departure from the church car park. follow the path on your left (red disc) towards the Col de Foigneux and the Pic des Corbeaux. At the end of the coast, go in the direction "étang" and "point de vue". Walk around the summit. Go down the same path to reach your starting point.

Around the Tête des Noirs Étangs: 9.1 km - 3h10 - height difference + 380 m - medium level -
Markings: white-red rectangle (GR7) - yellow disc - red disc - green rectangle
Departure from the Hautes Mynes car park in Le Thillot. Follow the signs of the mining circuit "Les Hautes Mines Le Thillot" (GR7). Continue and always stay on the partially asphalted forest road of the GR7. After a steep climb, you will arrive at an important crossroads. Turn right, direction "La Pransière" (yellow disc). After the second bend, turn left (yellow disc). You will arrive at the old forest house of La Pransière. You will briefly brush past the road and turn right onto "sentier Jean Tissot" (red disc). On this path, you can take small detours to see the Source of the Ognon and small picturesque ponds. Always come back on the path. At the end of the path, you will arrive at the house of the Granges du Harderet. Climb the road to the left. At the crossing, turn right towards "Le Laxey". Before reaching a large meadow, turn right following the "sentier des écoliers" (red ring). At the crossing, turn right (green rectangle) until you reach the road. Going down a little to your left, you will arrive at Château Lambert. Continue on the main street (green rectangle). Cross the D16 road. You can make a small 100 m detour to the left to reach an orientation table . Go back. At the end of the road, go down to the left towards the Col de Croix (green rectangle). Cross the car park (not the road) and follow the GR7 which goes up a little (white-red rectangle) before going down into the forest and back to the starting point.
