Free rein for Rufus, inspired by Samuel Beckett
Rufus, whom we met at the start of the season and who made a surprise appearance in Bastien Simon’s teaser, is causing quite a stir by treating the audience at the Théâtre du Peuple to a captivating one-man show inspired by Samuel Beckett, which he created this summer for the festival of the same name. Thank you to him! Welcome, everyone!
There is no saviour to wait for; you must save yourself.
I don’t act out the words; I act out the silence between the words.
And finally, the good news is that we have finished losing, as prophesied by ‘end of a lost game.
