ACOUSTIC WALK AT CHÂTEAU-LAMBERT
Presentation
The Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park is working with artist Jim Petit and its various partners to create a new sound walk in the hamlet of Château Lambert.
It's a sensory experience combining augmented soundscapes, electronic music, instant reality and imagination. The route takes the form of a gentle walk and listening through headphones.
‘Along this trail, at 8 sites, I set up my microphones and recorded the soundscape, the streams, the birdsong, the hidden sounds of birch sap, ant hills, earthworms and aquatic larvae with a tape recorder. By transforming and superimposing these 4 periods together, sometimes accompanied by Moog synthesizers and slide guitars, I built a 5th season’. Jim Petit
