Family walk - Between ponds and Presles forest

This walk takes you through the Presles Valley, between ponds and small forest paths. The route is dotted with rivers and peaceful waterside spots. A pleasant and refreshing walk.

Departure :  Tourist Office car park.

Description of the route:

At the end of the car park next to the Tourist Office, join the bridge and follow the path on the right, which leads directly to the Greenway (Voie Verte). Turn left onto the Greenway and follow it for about 450 metres. Pass behind the outdoor swimming pool.

After the barrier, at the crossroad, turn left and walk uphill to the lovely Presles pond.

At the pond, turn right towards the "Hameau de Presles", follow the blue triangle mark.

After approximately 430 metres, continue straight ahead towards the house located above the small hill, leaving the blue triangle marks. Follow the edge of the property on the right, and continue uphill to the junction behind the house. Turn left, walk behind the house and follow the mountain bike trail no. 16.

 Continue following this marked MTB trail.

You pass near a pond and its small “hobbit house” (private property).

Reach the road by turning left.

About 140 metres further on, take the path on the right, following the MTB trail markers no. 11 and no. 16.

Continue straight ahead along the Traverse de Presles.

At the junction, do not take Rue du Tremplin. At the next crossroad, turn right and follow the main road for approximately 215 metres to return to the Tourist Office.
