Presentation

To celebrate the International Year of Pastoralism, the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park invites you on a walk to discover the precious heritage of the meadows and open landscapes of the Ballon d’Alsace massif.
Setting off from the La Jumenterie holiday centre and guided by a mountain guide, you will learn to interpret the landscape to understand pastoral activities from the past to the present day.
After all that effort, it’s time for a treat: the walk will be followed by a tasting of produce from a neighbouring farm. Booking required.
