Stories of Streams

*Éphémère* is an attempt . To bring a community into being, briefly . To share a state of listening . To open up a space where something can happen, without being fixed, without being repeated.

Paul Francesconi, an artist associated with the Théâtre du Peuple, author (of *Hériter des brumes*, amongst other works) and director, brings his writing and talent to bear on an *Éphémère* linked to the Bourgeon Bussenet.

Accompanied by associate sociologist Anne Labit, actors Baptiste Relat – a regular collaborator with the theatre – and Solène Petit, as well as scientists and local residents, he will take us on a journey: a summer’s day blending texts and experiments as we follow the river’s course and encounter people along the way.

Meet at the source for a journey in motion, blending nature, science and theatre. At each stage, the river becomes a story: we encounter Ondine (a nymph from Germanic mythology and Alsatian legends), scientists in the midst of their research, local residents, theatrical characters, and texts inspired by Élisée Reclus… Here, the Moselle tells its story in all its forms: fragile and powerful, ever-changing
