From the ‘Qualité Tourisme’ label to ‘Destination d’Excellence’ .....
The Ballons des Hautes Vosges Tourist Office is classified as Category I and is part of the French Tourist Offices network (ADN Tourisme).
As a result, and for many years now, we have been committed to initiatives aimed at securing quality labels for the destination. The Qualité Tourisme label, renewed in 2022, demonstrates our professionalism through our commitments to our visitors and our destination. In 2026, the tourist office is working towards obtaining the new Destination d’Excellence label, which replaces the Qualité Tourisme label.
The new Destination d’Excellence label aims to enhance quality across the entire spectrum of tourism provision: accommodation, catering, places of interest and leisure facilities, tourist information points (particularly tourist offices), and transport.
In addition to the focus on the quality of hospitality and services, which drives the sector, this label will in particular raise the standards for environmental responsibility.
It has replaced the ‘Qualité Tourisme’ label since May 2024.
